The bridge

The days are cold and short
The nights are much too long
An extra candle spreads softly light
I gaze into the flame
Where from my dreams just came

My daydream lets me walk
To a maginificent view
Over the water, to the bridge
Ahhh, remembering the good days
When we did not know, what we know now
And where we were happy, somehow

The bridge over the water
Connecting friends
The bridge that inspires
And makes me dream even more
No matter if it is cold or warm
Daydreams are allowed to have some charm

I open my eyes, and seem to dream on
When I look to your painted view
It tells me, soon it will be spring again
As if I never knew

I will walk over it, and find my rest
I will look to it, and do my best
To be a better person, all the time
For who walks with me over the thin line

You, my inspiration, you, the one I love
and you too, my dear friend, who painted
the different dreams,
That we all can be dreaming of

Walking on
Taking my steps
Standing still
From free will

A long road to go
To where
I don’t know
I just know the present
The here

Looking to the trees
I realize the many colours of green
Looking to the flowers
I see colours I never before have seen

I can look back, if I want
But it is the past
I can look forwrd, if I want
But the future is just a dream

THe longer I stay
The more that I see
Some say, the road is the destination
I can not more agree

I can watch the flowers
For hours and ours
And it might sound silly
Still, I can hear their story

They whisper to me
In invisible communication
TI understand
And I admire your wonderful creation

The painted flowers, I can smell
The magic of their colours touches me so well
A kind of magic, nature is art
We shold not forget, wa are all a part

With all the different colours
We built the patchwork of life
I say it sinsere, without any shame
Without you
Life should not be the same

the sea
It gives
And it takes

The wind
Through my hair
I wish you were here

The seaguls cry
In their never ending search
For a fresh fish

The air
Smells like salt
Here I want to get old

The sound
Of the waves on the shore
I not need anymore

The lights of the tower
At the port
Is the witness

On .. out
The sky forms
A brand new cloud

And in the meantime
The sea
come back to me

Let’s all stand together

Sometimes when I face the big bad world
I feel so lonely
I feel so lost

It is not that I want to run away
But what I want
Seems so far

I feel so helpless, when I see things happen
Things that I can not change
But so desperately want to, need to

At those moments
The tears run free
My heart cries, for me
My heart cries for you
What to do

Then, when the tears are fading away
There is some light, between the grey
Your shoulder, the glimpse in your eyes
Make me realize

That we are not alone
That I love you
Friends will be friends
And nothing else, really does matter
Because, in the end
We all stand together

Is it real or just an illusion
Mind in a whirl, total confusion
People swarming like bees to honey
Intent on saving loads of money
Black Friday is the day to shop
They say it saves you such a lot.
Fifty percent off we are told
But can we afford to be so bold.
Don’t really want what is on sale
But if we don’t buy did we fail?
I think the most sensible thing to do
Is stay at home with a drink or two.

Christmas here again and with it comes the work
So much more to do,these tasks we can’t shirk.
Trimmings to go up, presents all to buy
Worth it all when children are starring at the sky
Singing jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Santas here on his sleigh
Hurray for Christmas day
Jingle bells jingle bells little faces they all beam
Then you know it’s worth it all, best sight ever seen

If you see a smile just pass it on
In the blink of an eye it will be gone
We can’t afford to ignore smiles
Much better than a scowl that riles
Every day make it your goal
To give a smile,to play your role
In making the day much more of a pleasure
So many people a smile will treasure
Laughter and smiles are the salt of the earth
Don’t think you can put a price on their worth.
It’s smiles that make this life worth living
Don’t cost anything except the giving
But a smile is worth it’s weight in gold
Makes you warm inside instead of cold
So tomorrow when you go out to shop
Give a smile away, it will mean a lot

/and my reply …
Every time I see you write
My heart is cheering and I feel alright
I have been missing it, for a while
But you returned, what makes me smile

You are a wonderful woman, and you know it
What you do and who you are does show it
I can repeat it every day
When I see you the shadow runs away

Yes, we know, life is not always fair
And you have gone through it, you were there
Always standing up again
I hear you saying
What other choice we do have then?

Indeed, we need our positive sway
We need friendship, to feel okay
You are wonderful, Mags, I tell it to you for a while
We love your friendship, and adore your smile

Big Brother Watching you

I am your eye

I mean only good to you
I am watching over you
I will see what you do, and don’t
I will see what you want, and wont

Don’T be afraid, I will not bite
I will not bother you, I will get hide
Soon you will no longer be aware
You won’t see me, but I still will be there

I will observe you, day and night
I will be the judge, in wrong and right
You not need to worry, when you are good
You not need to hide, you can’t, if you should

I look after you, I will take care
And what I see, I shall not share
I will find you, where ever you go
I am your big brother, and you will know

Don’t worry, everything will be all right
You not need to fear
I will hear
And decide, what is wrong and what is right.

Words by me (HaFri)

Let me hear the waves in my ear
Let me step on foreign sand

Let me look over the endless water
Where waves wash away our sorrows and pain
Where we can live again

Let me drown in the brightness of the sun
Where the seaguls catch their fish
Let it all be as it is

Let the world turn around
Let us not forget, where we are from
Let us feel what we once found

Where we broke out of our shell
And started to breath

Take me back again
Where our life began
Where we will return
Where our separated souls will unite again

Christmas fast approaching, children all excited
A time for family and friends to all become united

Shops full to overflowing as the stampede gets under way
Presents wrapped and trees all aglow ready for Christmas day.

Spare a thought for the lonely ones who have no one left to share
Also think of the homeless, hungry and freezing out there.

When you watch the tele and perfect families appear
Remember this isn’t really the case,
So many shed a tear.

For one reason or another precious loved ones won’t be there
So many homes with empty chairs
Not filled but just so bare.

These spaces left by arguments that time just hasn’t healed
It’s not too late to make it up, with kisses its signed and sealed.
Nothing left for me to say apart from have a happy Christmas

Walk to the lake

Painting by Margaret
Words by me

I look through the windows and what do I see
The sun is smiling today to me
Goodbye to the days that were so grey
Hello Mister blue sky, let’s get on our way

As long as the rain takes a break
It is our time, to walk to the lake
Watching the water, the birds in the sky
Smell the air, and you do know why

People, walking hand in hand
Who let the dogs out, together we stand
Away from the darkness, back in realitiy
Breathing again, it is blasphemy

Surrounded by silence, we take step by step
Today’s afternoon, we will need no nap
I look to the nature that seems to awake
And I promise myself
More walks to the lake

Tick tock, tick tock, time is flying fast.
Time for clocks to go forward, spring is here at last.
We’ve had a long winter with Beast from the East, the worst for many years
But the worst is now behind us, a memory now the fears.
Spring flowers here to bring such joy, birds tweeting in the trees
Won’t be long till summer and the buzzing of the bees
